  1. Nice one again Neha. :-)

Yun mor ne failaye apne pankh,
hua phir se baarish ka aagman.
Kuch is chaah main tha woh,
kaash yeh barkha de jaye naya rang.

Barkha bhi hai, mousam bhi awara,
Nach raha hai mor bhi hokar bawra.
Ek baat khatakti dil main dekhkar use,
kyun hai phir bhi feeka uska chehra.

Neha, is baar to 4 lines ka bola tha, 8 lines ho gayi hai :-)

  13. excellent!

the various shades of blue describing the different level of emotions...sometimes really strong, sometimes calm, peaceful and serene. And the peacock again - goes back to communicate -
    'm like a bird
    I wanna fly away
I don't know where my home is
I don't know where my soul is...

of course the color of red unmistakably depicting passion, love, rage...

neha - it is AWESOME! :)

  14. Many of us think that Blue is a melancholic color depicting sadness that life accompanies. However, look closely and almost 2/3rd of the world around is Blue: Vast azure sky and infinite and seamless stretch of water. This painting celebrates the color and the positive vibes around it and ends up celebrating life.
Life has moments attached to it and every moment has numerous emotions attached to it. Likewise, this painting has different shades of blue with other colors making their presence felt but only get noticed in the aura of blue!!!!
The Peacock portrays the Being (us), perched on the ruins of time and the feathers flutter around in form of a dance- the celebration of life, a toast to its moments and greet its emotions. It is noticeable that the feathers at the lower end are twisted, brownish and almost closed showing the times gone by. Those moments had their own share of joys or sorrows but with time, they have assumed same color. The ones in the middle flutter around in the zone of uncertainty as one is always in a state of flux in the present with reality biting the whims of faith. The upper feathers are large and sway in whiff of aspirations, hope and color. The tinge of orange in them confirms the brightness with which hopes are written and dreams are woven. Further, there is an eye like structure on every one of them- wide open; trying to see better things in store…
In all, a very optimistic painting- complete with dance in the tune of the greatest celebration of mankind- Life

(From the bikhri bikhri si zulfein)
    (First line changed a bit)

Feeka feeka sa chehra hain kyun
Khoyi khoyi si aankhein hain kyun
Gham ka yeh pal guzar jaayega
    Phir koi humsafar Aayega

    Beete pal bhool ja
    Woh pal nahin hain kahin
    Laayenge pal naye,
    Ek Zindagi phir haseen
    Yeh Bheegi Palkein utha
    Yeh soch ke muskura
Laayega phir samay koi zamaana aisa yahan
    Phir chalegi hawa manchali
    Phir se mehkegi koi kali
    Phir koi humsafar aayega
    Dil koi geet phir gaayegaa

Raat lambi sahi phir bhi yeh Ek raat hai
Subah ho jaayegi sau baaton ki baat hai
    Phir jaagegi yeh fiza
    Phir dil ka Ek rassta
    Le jaayega waheen tujhe
    Teri hai manzil jahan

Sach to yeh hai ki hona hai yun
To in aakhon mein aansoon hai kyun
Gham na kar tu jo murjha gaye
    Phool khil jaayenge phir naye.
